Israel
Pena, owner and founder of Authentic Custom Homes, has been a Texas
home builder for more than 25 years. A graduate of the University
of Texas’ esteemed architecture program, he has been recognized
with design awards and commendations from publications around the
country, including the Best in American Living Gold Award from Professional
Builder Magazine and the Pacesetter award for Design/Build from
Custom Home Magazine.
Pena founded Authentic Custom Homes to focus on what he loves to
do: design and build one-of-a-kind custom homes – and to make
the process both successful and enjoyable for all his clients.
Since 1984, Authentic Custom Homes has grown to be one of San Antonio's
and Boerne’s premier design/build firms.
Pena is also active in the San Antonio and Boerne communities, as
well as industry-related organizations in San Antonio and around
the country. He is currently an Advisory Director for Frost Bank
and serving on the Master Plan Committee for the City of Boerne.
He has also been elected to a Life Director of the National Association
of Home Builders. He served as President on the Board of the Boerne
Independent School District. Israel Pena has also served as President
of the Greater San Antonio Builders Association, among various other
distinctions.

Jim
Terrian, Associate Partner and Design Manager, has been a part of
the Israel Pena & Associates and Authentic Custom Homes team since
the inception over 25 years ago. With extensive training in the areas
of leadership, building codes and design innovation, he is an invaluable
addition to the IPA design team. Together with Israel Pena, Terrian
designs the premier one-of-a-kind homes that are the true essence
of Authentic Custom Homes.
Terrian has been married for over 21 years, is the father of two
teenagers and actively participates in his community. He is a member
of the City of Boerne Zoning Board, Hill Country Builders Association,
and St. Peters Church Building Committee. Terrian has been recognized
for his participation in Boy Scouts of America and Knights of Columbus
among various other community achievements.
